Custom sheet metal fabrication
Parts We Build
Rapidsheetfab fabricates custom enclosures, brackets, chassis, panels, frames, covers, ducts, trays, and welded assemblies for industrial OEMs. We support one-piece prototypes, NPI builds, and low-volume or repeat production on the same laser–bend–hardware–weld chain—so you do not change fabricators mid-program.
From drawing to production
Laser + bend + hardware + weld in one partner
We combine cutting, forming, PEM insertion, welding, and assembly with DFM notes and inspection documentation when your RFQ requires it.
Fabricated parts for industrial equipment
Browse categories for the part families we build most often—from electrical housings and mounting brackets to machine frames and welded assemblies. Our team helps align geometry, thickness, and finish with practical laser-and-bend process limits before you release production drawings.
Typical jobs mix several processes on one part number: laser or punch profiles, CNC bends, PEM or tapped holes, optional weldments, then in-house prep and partner finishing. That is the pattern behind enclosures, chassis, guards, and multi-piece kits that overseas buyers often split across too many suppliers.
Useful for your RFQ
- PDF / DXF / STEP (or SolidWorks) with revision
- Material, thickness, and quantity by phase
- Finish, cosmetic zones, and critical dimensions
- Hardware, weld, and assembly notes
- Target delivery and FAI / CoC if required

Part-family DFM notes we check before cutting
These checks apply across many categories. Category pages add detail; send drawings so we can apply them to your geometry.
Enclosures, cabinets, boxes & doors
We review bend sequence for box corners, door/panel gaps, hinge and latch stack-ups, window and connector cutouts, and gasket lands. Call out which faces are cosmetic and whether powder or other partner finishes apply before or after hardware.
Brackets, mounts, panels & plates
Hole-to-bend clearance, slot orientation, and PEM keep-outs dominate. Share datum schemes and critical hole positions relative to bends so we confirm laser and brake capability against your GD&T.
Chassis, frames, bases & welded assemblies
Weld access, distortion control, and grind zones matter. Stitch vs continuous seams, fixture needs, and post-weld machining interfaces (if any on your side) should be noted on the RFQ.
Covers, guards, ducts, trays & racks
Edge safety, airflow openings, cable routes, and mounting patterns are common. Louvers may be punched or laser-cut—tell us preference when both are acceptable so we can choose the efficient path.
Production support
Support across the fabrication workflow
Our 3,500 m² Dongguan facility runs fiber laser cutting (to 2000 × 4000 mm), CNC bending (to 230T / 3000 mm) and punching, welding, hardware insertion, and assembly for industrial OEM customers—with export communication practiced since 2019.
Flexible production volumes
Start at MOQ one for prototypes, then continue into NPI and repeat production without changing fabricators mid-program. Typical lead bands: proto 3–12 working days; small batch 10–15; production 15–25—confirmed against finish and documentation scope.
Engineering and quality focus
DFM review, drawing-dependent tolerances (typical laser ±0.10 mm; bend ±0.20–0.30 mm; holes ±0.10–0.20 mm), and FAI / dimensional reports when required under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
Coordinated finishing options
Powder coating, anodizing, plating, and passivation are available through qualified finishing partners—clearly scoped on the quote. In-house prep (deburr/grind/brush) stays under our control.
Examples of multi-process part kits
Overseas buyers often send a BOM that mixes a main enclosure, internal mounting plates, brackets, and a welded frame. We quote those as a coordinated kit when drawings are complete: shared material lots where useful, consistent finish systems, and one inspection conversation. If part numbers will repeat quarterly, tell us so we can stabilize bend programs and hardware kits after first article.
Electrical and automation builds frequently need PEM patterns that match DIN rails, PLC backplanes, or connector plates. Robotics and machine covers need service access and cable routes that survive revision without redesigning the entire blank. Share mating part interfaces—even photos of the assembly—when CAD for the mating side is not available.
What we need beyond the 3D model
A STEP file alone rarely defines cosmetic zones, paint-free grounds, or weld symbols. Include a PDF with notes, or a short bullet list in the RFQ email: which faces are A-side, which edges must be fully deburred, whether doors are left/right handed, and whether hardware ships installed. For export, note carton marking, palletization, or humidity protection so packaging is priced with the parts.
Materials we process most often for these part families include SUS304/316/430, SPCC/CRS and Q235/Q355, SGCC/SECC, and aluminum 5052/6061/5754 in the 0.5–12 mm range. Partner finishes (powder, anodize, plate, passivate) are scoped explicitly—never implied as in-house coating lines.
